Gather in the Glen for a slow-paced ½ mile wooded, moderate trail walk. Enjoy the beauty of the Glen and each other's company while getting some mild morning exercise. Geared toward older adults, but all ages and abilities are welcome. Meet outside the Vernet Center at the north end of the Steps Parking Lot: 405 Corry St. Cost: Free. Parking: Free for program participants.
Open to the public. Program: Free, $10 parking, free for members.

|In this talk, Don will first discuss an appreciation for large, old and otherwise venerable trees using several local and far-away examples. He will then tell the story of the Logan Elm, a tree of monumental proportions that was a central feature in the saga of Native American relations with European colonists in the eastern U.S.
