    Our annual birdwatching marathon, with free hikes scheduled throughout the day. Join us as we raise funds in support of Glen Helen land restoration activities, and discover how many bird species can be found in the Glen in one 24-hour period!     |In this talk, Don will first discuss an appreciation for large, old and otherwise venerable trees using several local and far-away examples. He will then tell the story of the Logan Elm, a tree of monumental proportions that was a central feature in the saga of Native American relations with European colonists in the eastern U.S.

    Join volunteer Tom Sabin  for a night hike under the bonus full moon this month. A Blue Moon is the 2nd full moon in the same month, that well, happens once in a Blue Moon.
