Daisy came to the Glen with serious metabolic bone disease after being found as a nestling and not getting the proper food. She cannot fly, but she is a good reminder about the importance of qualified wildlife rehabilitators.

As a baby, Daisy wore braces on her legs and feet while her bones gained much needed calcium and strength. This caused her to have duck-like paddle feet, which led to the name Daisy Duck.
