Raptor Center

The Glen Helen Raptor Center rescues and rehabilitates birds of prey while educating the public on the role of raptors in Ohio ecosystems. Each year, we care for over 200 sick, injured, and orphaned birds. In addition, we reach thousands of individuals through our educational programs with our resident ambassador raptors.

Visit

Guests can visit our resident raptors during open hours. For a more interactive experience, our team is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am until 2pm to introduce our visitors to our birds.

About & Resources

The Glen Helen Raptor Center works to provide high quality care for native birds of prey, to teach respect for wildlife through educational programs, and to train future educators and rehabilitators to act with compassion. Permits are held through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Ohio Division of Wildlife, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Your donations and program fees are our sole source of revenue.

We operate the region’s only raptor rehabilitation center. Learn what to do if you find a sick, injured, or orphaned bird.
