Educational Programs with the Raptor Center

Education is one of the core missions of the Raptor Center, and can happen in many ways!

Bring your group to the Raptor Center

The Raptor Center can accommodate small to medium sized groups in our outdoor lawn for exciting opportunities to view raptors up close. Due to the outdoor nature of these programs, scheduling is seasonal and weather dependent. Weather related cancellation may occur at no charge.

Programs at the Raptor Center start at $75 for up to 15 people and $5/person after that.

Bring the Raptor Center to YOU

We can bring the birds and excitement to your location! Most indoor or outdoor spaces can be made suitable for a program featuring some of the live ambassador birds of the Raptor Center. These programs are perfect for any size group, and flexible enough to accommodate a wide variety of needs. Contact us today to discuss how we can bring the birds to your group.

Offsite programs start at $100 and vary depending on location and program specifics.

Animal Encounters

Looking for something more intimate? Want to go behind the scenes with one of our avian trainers and try your hand at learning how to "speak bird"? Schedule a 30-minute up close animal encounter and meet two ambassadors face to face while you learn about their unique story and participate in a once in a lifetime training session.

This experience is for 10 years and older only and a maximum of 6 individuals. In order to keep participants and animals safe, program participants will not come in direct contact with the birds. Please be mindful that our birds are carnivores and you will be in close proximity to raw meat. $200/group, max 6 people.
