SUMMARY:Screech Owl Release
DESCRIPTION:Every year the Raptor Center takes in young screech owls that were displaced from their nests and raises them onsite. Help us celebrate their rehab “graduation” and watch as they take flight on their road to freedom. A short owl program will begin promptly at 7:30pm and the release will follow. Bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on. Program will proceed in light rain. Heavy rain or wind will necessitate a cancellation. No pre-registration needed. Program will be held at Camp Greene\, 3452 Grinnell Rd\, Yellow Springs.

DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what we do to ensure our ambassador birds have the best quality of life possible? How do we keep their lives enriched and fulfilled while living in captivity? Go behind the scenes in this hands-on program and work with our staff to build and use various enrichment items for our birds. Participate in training activities and learn about the multitude of ways we are committed to the well-being of our animal coworkers. \nNote: this program consists of training activities with live birds of prey. You will not be in direct contact with the birds however you will encounter their diet which will consist of dead animals such as mice\, quail or other small animals. The program is for ages 12-adult. All minors must be accompanied by a paid adult. \nProgram: $35/ticket ($30 for members)\, only 8 tickets available.
