Since 1974, Ecocamp has provided countless opportunities for campers to experience the beauty of Glen Helen Nature Preserve up close, while creating a safe space for them to build community, connect with friends - old and new - and gain new skills as they build self-confidence.

What's Glen Helen Ecocamp?
Ecocamp has been a summer tradition since 1972! We offer weeklong day, progressive, and overnight camps based out of the Outdoor Education Center in Glen Helen Nature Preserve. While each camp has a different theme, we strive to inspire campers to be curious lifelong learners through exploration, to create friendships and community at camp, and to create joy throughout their experience with us.

Day Camps are available for campers ages 5-8, with daily drop off at 9a and pick up at 3:30p. Extended Care is available until 5:30p.
​
Progressive Camps are available campers ages 7-11, with an overnight stay on Thursday night! Daily drop off Monday through Thursday at 9a, and pickup at 5:30p Monday through Wednesday, and Friday pick-up at 3:30p.

Overnight Camps are available for campers ages 9-15, with Monday drop off at 9a and Friday pickup at 3:30p. We offer specialised camps such as Nocturnal Camp, Adventure Backpacking Camp, and more! ​
​
Our Leaders in Training camp is available for campers ages 16-17, and gives returning Ecocampers the chance to give back to the Ecocamp Tradition by acting as counselors in training.

Ecocamp Policies
Registration will open for Ecocamp 2025 in early January.
​
Each camper will receive one Ecocamp shirt upon registering for the season and additional attire may be purchased at Monday check-in or Friday pick-up.
Several forms are required upon registering and may be completed or updated prior to the start of your child’s camp. As summer approaches and registration for camps fill, kids may be placed on a waitlist for the specific camp of their choice.

Deposits for all camps are non-refundable and due at time of registration for each camp reservation.

Discounts (Early Bird, GHA Membership Discount, Bring-a-Friend Discount, and Outdoor School Student's First Ecocamp) ​and scholarships are available.
